Fundraising Opportunities:

The dates are to be announced on this when we get the dates from Ms. Ford.

Student Store – I checked with Mrs Maier to see if we can get the student store for two weeks. She will talk with Ms Ford.

Commissary Bagging – I will contact Charlie at the commissary and see if we can sign up for grocery bagging.

When I talked to him on Friday, he was booked and will be out of town for a month. Maybe not be able to get anything until February.

Kris Kindle Day – Already held spot for the ‘potato bar’ – Need 2/3 parent volunteers. Need a few parents for this committee. The spot is already held. Dates to be announced.

Valentine’s Day – Seniors make gift bags for lower classmen to purchase during seminar. Ahead of Valentine’s Day, seniors take orders: make flyer, parents donate supplies, seniors make up goodie bags and sell during seminar on Valentine’s Day.

This committee can form in February – Dates to work would be 8-11th with sales on the 12. We would need a committee formed for this to prepare for everything ahead of time. 5-6 parents with committee setting up and asking for volunteer items from other parents by 5 Feb.

Decorations: What do Seniors want as decoration for the venue where graduation is held?

Programs: NEED A COMMITTEE TO PLAN/DESIGN PROGRAM – what do the Seniors want? Same pattern used last few years or come up with new design.

Baccalaureate – What do Seniors want? Need to get a senior committee together to discuss what they would like: Ideas include: Ceremony to honor graduates. Northside Chapel. Week of graduation – maybe night ceremony. Music, reading scriptures, reading poems, lighting candles. Ask Ms Young to have Choir present and sing. Possibly select two – three teachers and have them speak. Since our meeting already discussed with Ms Rita Glenn and she will be POC for this event.

Extra’s -

MSgt Bustamante will look into ‘Lance Armstrong’ type bracelets for Seniors 2010 color – Royal Blue

School Gift – Does the senior class want to leave the school a present? If so, what? Ideas – score board for football field, bronze lion in front of school, start of the senior class picture in a showcase – 2010.
