2010 KMC CGOC Scholarship

Dear Parents and Graduating 2010 Seniors,

Attached to this message is the application for the 2010 KMC CGOC College Scholarship Program.  Applications MUST be post-marked no later than April 9, 2010.

The application form may be typed or filled out using a black pen (please

write legibly).   Applicants will also be required to submit the following

supporting documentation:

1.  A 300 to 500 word essay

2.  A letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, supervisor, or mentor 3.  Official copy of your high school transcript.

The topic and details of the essay are provided on Page 3 of the application.  Failure to complete all sections of this application form, the letter of recommendation, the official high school transcript, or the essay may lead to your application being found ineligible.

Application Submission

Any applications received with a post-mark after April 9, 2010 will not be accepted.  Mail the attached form, along with the essay, letter of recommendation, and high school transcript to:

Note:  High school transcripts must be in a sealed envelope that is stamped by the administration office.

COMPLIANCE

Should the applicant receive a scholarship but fail to comply with the following, the scholarship will default to the next applicant.

Applicants must:

. Graduate during the Spring or Summer of 2010.

. Verify which university you will be attending by July 25, 2010.
